Preparation
Make sure all surfaces are clean and free from wax, grease and oil. Wiping down with white spirit should do the trick.
Give the surface a quick sand and wipe down with a damp cloth. Make sure it's completely dry before waxing.
Application
Make sure you stir the wax well before you start.
Brush it on in the direction of the woodgrain.
You'll need 3 coats, leaving 1 hour in between each coat.
Once it's dry your interior wood is protected and ready for use.
