Use on...

Before you start

Unbox and assemble your kit - this won't take long! Clip the soft-grip handle into the pad head and set the angle using the black button slider. Each section of the 5-piece extension pole slots into the next and is locked by twisting clockwise. Screw the pole into the soft-grip handle. Attach the pad and you're ready to get started.

(NOTE: always follow the instructions on the back of the can for steps on how to prepare the floor before coating. Different coatings and conditions of floor will need different types of preparation).

Application

This kit can be used with any Ronseal Floor Oil, Floor Wax, Floor Varnish or Floor Paint. Pour your oil, wax, varnish or paint into a tray and dip the pad in. Be careful not to completely submerge the pad.

Start in the furthest corner of the room from the door and work on 2-3 boards at a time, moving along the length of the boards. You don't want to paint yourself into a corner!

Aftercare

The pad included with this kit can be cleaned and reused. Make sure you clean it out straight after use with warm, soapy water. If you've used this kit with Ronseal Floor Oil then it's probably best to replace the pad rather than cleaning it out as warm, soapy water won't clean this oil off properly and white spirit may damage the pad. Replacement pads are available and sold separately.
